Personalised Individual Therapy

Our individual therapy sessions provide a safe, confidential environment for exploring your personal mental health concerns. We help clients address challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.

Individual therapy or as it is sometimes called one-to-one therapy usually takes place at the same time on the same day each week and lasts for 50 minutes per session. The therapy can be short term or long term. Sometimes these sessions can be longer in length if you are working on a particular issue but this would be discussed between yourself and your therapist prior to any change in the usual regular session.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR, or eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing, is a unique and powerful therapy that helps people recover from problems triggered by traumatic events in their lives. It stops difficult memories causing so much distress by helping the brain to reprocess them properly, working with memory to heal the legacy of past pain.

EMDR therapy is best known for treating PTSD but can help with a range of mental health conditions in people of all ages including depression and anxiety.

Art Therapy

Art therapy is a powerful and creative form of psychotherapy that helps people explore and express their thoughts and emotions. It’s not about making good art it’s about using creativity as a tool for self-expression and personal insight. In an art therapy session, you might use materials like paint, clay, or a sand tray whatever feels right for you. There’s no need to have any artistic skills; the focus is on the process, not the finished product.
Art therapy can be particularly helpful for people experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, or big life changes. Engaging with art materials can provide new perspectives, unlock deeper emotions, and even bring a sense of calm and clarity.
